From meeting at a West Philly print shop 40 years ago to marking over 37 years of marriage and building a successful business together, Claire and Steven’s story is an inspiring tale of love, partnership, and entrepreneurship.
Steven was raised in Philadelphia and received his education, before securing positions in lithography in South Jersey. He progressed to become a Training Manager at Deluxe Corporation, where he oversaw safety, interpersonal, and skills training for 300 employees. An entrepreneur at heart, he started an integrated marketing and design firm in 2008.
Claire, who was born and raised in Haiti, came to the United States with her family at the age of seven. She received her education in Philadelphia, graduating from Temple University with a Journalism degree. She later pursued her Master’s degree in Public Relations from Rowan University, where she currently serves as an Adjunct Professor. During her career in the petrochemical industry, she represented companies on local, regional, and national boards.
With Claire’s journalism and public relations background and Steven’s expertise in advanced lithography and training, they’ve combined their unique talents to create a strategic communication, integrated marketing, and relationship management firm that serves South Jersey with excellence.
Their mission embodies integrity, creativity, collaboration, and performance excellence, providing a vibrant canvas for their team to express their gifts and talents.
Even during the pandemic, Riggs Creative Group LLC has shown resilience and innovation, rebranding the company in October 2020 and experiencing consistent growth year over year.
Active members of Clayton Baptist Church and engaged community volunteers with such organizations as the Gloucester County Prayer Committee and the United Way of Gloucester County, they reside in Franklinville and cherish time spent with family and friends, especially their four children and three grandchildren.
