✨ Empowering Growth – Claire Riggs and Riggs Creative Group’s Impactful Leadership ✨

This Black History Month, we celebrate Claire Riggs, co-founder of Riggs Creative Group, for her dedication to leadership, collaboration, and empowering others. Claire’s journey from journalism and public relations to becoming a key figure in strategic marketing communications was shaped by a desire to expand her company’s services and meet the diverse needs of their clients. She credits many empathetic leaders and community icons for nurturing and inspiring her path, including the late Virginia Scott and Dr. Irene Hill-Smith.

For Claire, Black History Month is a time of reflection—celebrating the unsung achievements of Black men and women who have paved the way for progress, often without the recognition they deserved. She believes that everyone, regardless of background, should be measured and supported based on their capabilities, competencies, and culture. Claire leads by example, promoting listening, learning, and collaboration in her work and fostering understanding, respect, and opportunity for all.

As a naturalized U.S. citizen from the first nation of freed slaves, Claire’s personal history is deeply intertwined with her commitment to learning and expanding her understanding of Black culture and history. Raised by a resilient, faith-driven mother, Claire learned the importance of leadership, community, and collective progress—a principle she carries into her work every day.

Her advice to aspiring entrepreneurs? Be a dedicated listener and perpetual learner. Stay humble, serve your community, and never shy away from sharing your wisdom with others. Claire’s belief in the power of collaboration and continuous growth is evident in every step of her leadership journey.

Let’s celebrate Claire Riggs for her commitment to inspiring growth, fostering inclusive environments, and empowering the next generation of leaders.
